RICHARD Lawson has withdrawn from the Attis Insurance Sports Division British Final due to an ankle injury.
The Watling JCB Lions racer made a guest appearance for King’s Lynn on Thursday, scoring 6+4 in a home win over Sheffield.
But he was signed out of the meeting after his last programmed ride and he is now out of the Belle Vue showpiece on Saturday.
It means Craig Cook is the Lions’ sole representative in British Final, whilst Lawson will be looking to be fit for next Thursday’s (June 13) home clash with King’s Lynn.
